Do we provide VPN access to media streaming services?

No.
Bright Data’s mission is to allow business customers to collect publicly available data, in order to make the right business decisions. Accessing media streaming services through our network of residential proxies is not part of that and is strictly forbidden. This policy is strictly enforced in our KYC process and VPN customers are not approved. On top of this most media streaming domains are globally blocked on the residential proxy network and the rest are redirected to our data center proxies – non are allowed on the residential proxy regardless of the KYC process.

Some low scale media streaming traffic is allowed through our data center proxies so as not to break the functionality of websites that have small streaming media embedded components.
