Web Unlocker Bandwidth Calculation

The bandwidth calculations when using the Web Unlocker are the sum of all requests necessary to get a success response from the target. As this can vary with target-side changes, we typically recommend per-request pricing instead, but if your billing is per-GB, this is how you can know the bandwidth used in a given request.

In each Web Unlocker response, there are two headers that contain the bandwidth details of the request:

  • x-debug-bw-up
  • x-debug-bw-dn

These headers express in bytes the total upload and download transfer respectively. You can see an example of them in a Web Unlocker curl response below:
